MGCA is proud to offer individuals and councils special scholarships and honors.
Following is a list of the scholarships and honors currently offered by the Assocation.
This scholarship is available for any council who has never attended an MGCA conference
in the past. It may be awarded to only one council per year.
The Dealph Award is given to one outstanding Greek Professional each year. Any undergraduate
student who appreciates the efforts of their Advisor may nominate candidates.
The Little Award is presented to one council each year that has not participated in the
MGCA Council Awards process in the previous four years and who are applying for at least one
award this year.
The Wayne C. Colvin Award is given to an undergraduate Greek leader who far exceeds the
Greek standard of excellence. It may be awarded annually to one man or woman who is committed
to improving himself or herself as well as others.
Three MGCA Annual Conference registration scholarships will be offered annually. Priority
will be given to a NPHC or NALFO council attending for the first time. No more than one
scholarship will be awarded per campus.
The Linda A. Wardhammar Kaleidoscope Award
This award is a Judges Choice award presented to only one campus annually. There is not
an application for this award, rather it is identified and chosen by the judges. Applications
for the Council Awards are utilized to identify the recipient.
